“Sharing the Spirit of America”
Concurrent readings of the Declaration of Independence at various suburban locations. The readings themselves will all commence at 5pm across the area - and all across the country!
This nationwide effort — spanning the entire continental United States and its territories — honors the 250th anniversary of the first public reading in 1776. These will be continuations of America 250 celebrations, and your participation will help amplify our chapter’s leadership and commitment to this historic moment.
Your presence at any of these sites will help strengthen our shared commitment to honoring the Declaration and its enduring principles. Please consider attending and inviting family or friends to join you.
Coordinated by the Hawai’i America 250 Commission.
