“Sharing the Spirit of America” - Concurrent readings of the Declaration of Independence across our service area at various locations. The readings themselves will all commence at 5pm across the area and the country!
Batavia - Today we are participating in a nationwide event at the National Flag Day Monument with local NSDAR members. The Monument is located across from the Batavia, IL, City Hall, address at 100 N. Island Ave.
This will be a national reading of the Declaration of Independence together across the entire country! From the Caribbean to the western edge of the Pacific Ocean, communities are coming together to share this time for reading of the document and reflection on its meaning.
Coordinated by the Hawai’i America 250 Commission.
Lockport - Reading will be at the Lincoln Landing. Program starts at 4:45pm.
