Flag Day Weekend Events

Calling all FVSAR members, families and guests: An entire week-end of events is scheduled at Cantigny Park and in Batavia!

Cantigny will have readings of the Declaration of Independence, battle reenactments, fireworks and much more - so please come out!

And on Sunday, join us in Batavia for a Flag Day Ceremony and Liberty Education Plaza Dedication event!

We need volunteers at Cantigny but especially for Sunday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as many members will be preparing for or attending the Flag Day Ceremony in Batavia.

SATURDAY - June 13 - Cantigny Park will host a full Revolutionary War Encampment from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our SAR Chapter will staff a booth inside the Visitor’s Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

At 3:00 p.m., a Liberty Tree Dedication will take place — an especially meaningful moment in our America 250 commemorations. Fireworks are at 9:30 p.m.

Parking is $16 per car and can be purchased through the Cantigny website. Full schedule and details:
